Oil & Gas
New Orleans Helicopters provides charter services to the oil & gas industry from the New Orleans area, servicing multiple offshore locations with ease. The city has been a great location to service the offshore oil & gas industry as workers can fly home directly from the international airport upon arrival at our location. A sample of some of the offshore locations serviced would be Mississippi Canyon, Green Canyon, Atwater Valley, Main Pass Area, Grand Isle Area, and the deeper Walker Ridge and Lloyd Ridge locations.
Search and Rescue
Era’s New Orleans Helicopters provide Search and Rescue (SAR) services for all locations in the Gulf of Mexico including New Orleans. We work with both the U.S. Coast Guard and Acadian Ambulance to ensure all emergency medical needs are taken care of. New Orleans Helicopters operate 24/7. Our SAR-equipped AW139 is state-of-the-art and includes a diver, hoist operator, medic, and captain and co-pilot. The aircraft is just minutes away, stationed at our Houma base location.
New Orleans Helicopters can offer small aircraft such as the AS350B2 and A119 to assist with any utility work in the New Orleans area. We can also offer the light twins EC135 and A109 if a multi-engine aircraft is required for the job. We have experience in pipeline inspections and also power line inspections after severe storms.
New Orleans Helicopters offers several aircraft types for lease including single and multi-engine helicopters. The leases can either by “dry,” which means aircraft only, or “wet,” which means the pilot, mechanics, and all other necessities to operate the aircraft are included.
Era maintains several bases along the Gulf Coast and has a very large and diverse fleet. This fleet is maintained by high-level AMT’s and a large supply department that has major hubs in Lake Charles and Houma to support the entire Gulf Coast. The Houma base would assist with most any items needed in New Orleans.
Unmanned Aerial Solutions
